Still living in Edgemont (but on the Seely side), I pass the Glass house every day on my way down breakneck hill to Scarsdale Train Station.  No matter that he moved long ago and now has moved into another dimension, he continues to live in my mind and those of us who grew up with him...,  What a gentle soul. Modest and humble.  Wishing his family comfort in the sweet memories...

tousled hair. lanky. fluid strides. a harmonica. the grin. seriously objecting. gentle.
our valedictorian. fond memories.
“…is a man of an angel's wit and singular learning. I know not his fellow. For where is the man of that gentleness, lowliness and affability? And, as time requireth, a man of marvelous mirth and pastimes, and sometime of as sad gravity. A man for all seasons." (Robert Whittington)
Loved by the common people and by his family, Rest In Peace, Adam.

Remembering Adam as just so damn smart, and approachable, humble, and kind. My thoughts are with his family, and with all of us who are connected to one another through him. Love to all, Jane

I will remember him also as poet, musician, and crusading newspaper editor.  His dedication to the common good uplifted us all.  May his memory be a blessing to his family and all who knew him.

Adam was brilliant, authentic, kind, caring and humorous, as well as all that our thoughtful and articulate classmates have said about him (Bravo!). I admired, respected and loved him. I am blessed to have kept up with him somewhat over the years. I intended to see him on my next trip to DC. I am going there partly to atone for my failure to do so sooner, and to meet and support his family in their loss.

Adam's departure from this earth would be too soon no matter how long he lived. Adam deserved a TED Talk and yet, only he could have done it justice. God bless him. Through him, God blessed all of us.

Note: I don't know how this site works, so if you're attending the DC service, please let me know and perhaps we can gather for some reflections and reconnecting afterward.

Love to all

Speechless, shocked about the loss of our dear friend Adam. He was a leader of our Class, caring and active in every facet of life. Memories of his tousled hair, tall & thin, great grin, and recognizable happy lanky walk. Gifted in everything, print, poetry, and gab. Didn’t he play the harmonica too?

God blessed us with Adam Glass. Left us way too soon. Our thoughts and love are with Adam’s family & friends. Be in Peace Adam. And I said I was speechless.

I will borrow a phrase written by Phil Ochs when mourning the death of JFK:

a man so full of life that even death was caught off guard.

God bless you Adam.  You leave a hole that none of us can ever fill.  Thank you for all that you gave us.

This news has been quite a blow. Though I knew Adam's sisters far better than I did Adam, I always admired his gifts and easy way. Adam's departure is shocking and saddening. I hope he travels well.

This is shocking news, so sudden. I always think of Adam with fondness, a gentle and intelligent soul. He will be missed.

I fondly remember Adam for getting together with Danny Herman to get me to join their jug band.  He and Danny were wonderful and encouraging friends to me..  Adam was a generous and kind, and his optimism and joy always raised my spirits  I won't be able to come up to Larchmont for the service, so I'm sending love and condolences to all who were close to him.
